I feel a 80's vibe from this

Alright, so I didn;t really like the intro only cuz it seemed a little useless & annoyin'. The song also got a little repetitive. Those are the only 2 problems I have with this song. At 1st I started gettin' a little bored then I heard the wonderful keyboard at 0:51 seconds & that changed everythin'. I started hearin' that 80's oldskool vibe in my ears & it was wonderful. That keyboard is what made this song better. There was also definitely enough effects with it which made it better. Weird cuz I never thought a mix of the 80's & dubstep could go together so that was a good mix-up. I loved how the keyboard wobbled, well wobble bass I guess you could say, but it sounds like a combo (heh, keyble bass). Overall, good song & combo 8/10 & 4/5

DJ-Species responds:

The keyboard is Harmless with wobble just really detuned. :D
The wobble is a custom, I never thought of 80's when I was making this. I was thinking classical dance though, so they're about the same.

Pretty Good

The intro made the song very convincin' there was gonna be a better beat added in. Sadly, the beat wasn't hard enough to make the song better. The kick is probably what should've been harder. There was a little too much reverb on the snare too. The song did also get a little repetitive. Now if this song was with a rap then the score might be different, but for an instrumental, the beat could be better. I would've gave this song an 8, but the beat also got too repetitive. The bass could've had more vol. or somethin' cuz that was a really good bass. Overall, this song was ok, but it can be better.

Hmmm, could be better

The beginnin' convinced me this was gonna be an awesome song at first. The tempo was great & everythin'. But then it just kept repeatin' & that's when it got annoyin'. Also readin' your author comment on the bottom, yeah the steel drum could've been outta the pic. Maybe since this is kinda short, a gunshot for a race to start. The drums could've been a little better too. Now, I did like the outro & intro parts, overall, make this less repetitive & might I add, BASS BASS BASS

Ironclover responds:

I guess I'll have to update it than.. yeah I try to make it close to what it was orignally at. D:

You know what...

I saw the authors comments & before listenin' to the song whole, I checked out the other 2 versions & I agree, this is probably the best of the 3. Also one the 1st version, I agree with the person who reviewed it, I like the chords & stories lolz. I especially liked the gates, panning, the guitar was a great touch, drums, I mean everything was in tune. And I noticed you said you used Poizone. Which program did you use it in?? I mean I think you can use it in anything really, but I'm just wonderin'. Anyways, I think you must've put alot into this song cuz the emotion you packed in this song is yours & Kirsten's love combined into this one perfect song of harmony & heaven. This is one of those songs where if I made this, I wouldn't be able to top & since you used the power of love to make this song, it's hard to top. Again, excellent job & I hope the next song you make is as touching as this one. 10/10 & 5/5

CompletedEmotion responds:

I really appreciate your kind review! I'm probably going to go back and clean up some of the MIDI notes. I kind of rushed this and didn't make it perfect before tossing it up. The original song and this remake were made in FL Studio. Stay tuned for more music!

Again, that aquatic feel 5.00 / 5.00 (+ 5.00)

That water feel in this song is like your other one which I really enjoyed, but this song is more compressed so it feels more underwaterish, which is still good. When the bells kicked in I really enjoyed the song even more. When stuff kept coming & coming in, just made the song better & better. The strings were also very nice too. I also like how in mostly all your songs you put the FX at the beginnin' cuz it's like a signature a rapper use in the beginnin' of his or her song except this is a small FX. The only reason I give this a 9 is because it did get a little repetitve. None the less, I really enjoyed this song.

LoveKavi responds:

Thanks a lot! I like creating that underwater/gritty/dark feeling!

Yeah it was pretty much looped twice lol, mostly for a rapper too use though! I'll try changing it up next time!

Thanks again!

Omg, can you say Evil Clowns lolz

I can totally picture this in an evil clown game or somethin'. Anyways, this song was pretty dark & awesome. Everythin' in tune, dark voices, nice kick, & great synths. Now, as I wuz listenin', I said to myself this would be great with a wobble bass. I don't know if you've ever made dubstep, but you should at least add a wobble bass if you could & that would add more to the song & it would make this song just awesomer. I know this is industrial, but a wobble bass just seems like the perfect thing to add to make this song perfect. Also, I know this is industrial, but it did get just a tad repetitive. The voices are almost like wobble bass, but not quite. Some of the voices are more of that YaYaYa bass, not the actual wobble. Overall, I really enjoyed this song. 4/5 & 8/10

SwampWater responds:

Hi, thanks for the kind words. Never listened to dubstep before, I'll have to check it out. If you can PM me with any suggestions on where to start, that'd be great. :-)

I love this song, I know the lyrics by heart

When I saw the title I was like HOLY CRAP, I MUST LISTEN!!!! This is like my 2nd favorite song by Daft Punk & just my 2nd favortie, my 1st is Around The World by Daft Punk (the actual version, not the crappy radio edit). Anyways, this was pretty good & I liked how you delayed the voice at some points and deepened the "yeah" part. The music part seemed a little repetitive at the beginnin' & kinda a slow start to it, but when the lyrics came in, that's when it started gettin' enjoyable. Good song/remix overall (Also, if you wouldn't mind or have spare time, do you think you could check out my new song Blue Air, Purple Sky, I'd appreciate it :)) Anyways, score: 9/10 rating: 5/5

poowis responds:

It is pretty repetitive, yeah. I'm sorry for that. I could make a "crappy radio edit" ;)

But yeah thanks for the reviews and ratings, I'll check out your stuff right away.

10 worthy in my opinion, YES!!!

i really REALLY enjoyed this song. It was almost like 3 genres in one, dubstep, techno, & video game, but mostly video game. I just thought this epic, really good drums, the guitar at 1:08 made the song more epic and retro, funny cool voices, great drops, build-ups were good, & strings were awesome. If I could vote twice in one day for one song, I'd vote 2 5's. Great song/remix & you should definetly try another remix. 5/5 11/10 (lolz, if I could I would, but 10/10)

Omega-Ravager responds:

Wow, thanks a ton man!

I'll try to do some more remixing for ya!

Nice & mysterious at the same time

This song had a kinda dark, mysterious feelin' to it iin my opinion. The synth, I think, that kicks in at 0:34 is a little overpowering. Although, I would mark a point for repetitiveness, since this is miscallaneous, I'm not goin' to mark a point off for that. The strings you added in at 1:01 were perfect with the song & that's when it just made the song better. Good work again & I know you'll keep it up ;)

Omega-Ravager responds:

Wow, thanks a lot glad you like it!

It makes it all worth it to hear that people enjoy my music!

Omega

Well, I thought this wuz pretty good

I just think the guy on the bottom is a dumbass. Anyways, the song wasn't bad. Although, I've never heard of this song, this still sounds pretty good & I'm guessin' the original sounds good too. I love the feelin' this song has to it, the emotion. Maybe a little short and repetitive, which is what I'm markin' the points for, but either then that, this was really good. I'm surprised this song doesn't have a better score.

Omega-Ravager responds:

Thanks for listening, I was planning on switching it up a bit but it was crackling so bad from my CPU being overloaded (I used a ton of EQuing effects) so I just had to write up an ending a little bit sooner than I planned. . .

Thanks for listening and check out the original, I have it linked in the description!
